The Honda LPGA Thailand 2012 golf tournament being held at Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course in Pattaya from 16-19 February has once again attracted a star-studded field to compete for the title and US$ 1.5 million in total prize money.

Heading the list of notables will be defending champion and world No.1 Yani Tseng of Taiwan who used last year’s event as a springboard to launch an outstanding year on the LPGA Tour.  Teeing off with Yani next Thursday will be an all star cast that includes Ai Miyazato, Suzann Pettersen, Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie.

Crowd favourite Laura Davies will also be taking part as one of the 10 special sponsor’s invites and the local challenge will be spearheaded by young rising stars Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn, Nontaya Srisawang and Junthima Gulayanamitta.

Channel 7 will have live broadcasts for all four days of the event: 16th-17th February from 14:00 – 17:00 and 18th-19th February from 15:00 – 17:00.  Tickets are available at Thaiticketmajor or by payment at the course entrance for 300 baht (Thursday, Friday), 400 baht (Saturday) and 500 baht (Sunday).  A 4-day season ticket can also be purchased for 800 baht.  There will be free admission for 18 years old or below and 60 years old or above.
