Monkeypod Coffee House is located on the roadside in the rural Paklok area of Phuket, a few kilometers from the famous Heroine’s Monument and on the way to Bang Pae Waterfall.

Strikingly white, the coffee house is well designed with an air-conditioned interior and al fresco terrace. Gorgeous wooden tables and a variety of bright windows facing the big trees add to the comfortable character of the coffee house.

Monkeypod serves a variety of coffees, juices & smoothies, and surprisingly, wine. The wine list features a good variety of wines from Australia, Argentina and New Zealand.

Monkeypod’s menu is a mixture of Thai and Western fare, as well as a few uniquely Phuket dishes. We opted to try the Western dishes and settled on a creamy ham & mushroom fettucine and a deep-friend ham & cheese sandwich. The food arrived quickly, the portions were ample, and the presentation was simple. Both of our meals were delicious, and we finished off our visit with an iced latte.

Monkeypod Coffee House is open daily from 9:00am to 21:00pm. More information can be found on their Facebook page:

It should also be noted that Monkeypod Coffee House has nothing but great reviews on TripAdvisor. We highly recommend stopping off here for a bite to eat and a coffee on your way to or from the airport.
